Dine Safe Across Ohio

Most restaurants across the state are dealing with capacity
issues as they meet social distancing requirements,
significantly lower sales versus a year ago, higher costs –
especially for PPE, financial losses, talent pool issues and
political hurdles. Given these issues, the ORA wants to help
by encouraging Ohioans to dine out and with the option of
donating to the Ohio Restaurant Employee Relief Fund.
Dine Safe Across Ohio is part of the ORA’s goal of recognizing
those who make our dining experience memorable and
enjoyable: our bartenders, servers, hosts, chefs, cooks, bussers
and dishwashers. These are the people that are the backbone
of our entire industry. That’s why the ORA is also promoting the
Relief Fund.

The ORA and its Education Foundation established the
Relief Fund to provide emergency funding for restaurant,
foodservice and hospitality personnel who have lost their
job or been adversely impacted due to COVID-19. Now is
the time to support those who have supported us and the
communities we call home.
